HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
The Avon Lions Club will once again award two William H. Bommer Memorial scholarships to 2014 graduating seniors. Each scholarship is $1,000.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a current high school senior scheduled to graduate in May or June of this year and satisfy one of the following criteria:
– Must be a student at Avon High School; or,
– Must be a resident of the Avon school district and graduating from a private or parochial school; or,
– Must be an immediate family member and financial dependent of an Avon Lions club member in good standing.
