AVON SENIORS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS
The Avon Lions Club will once again award two scholarships to 2013 graduating seniors living in the Avon school district. Each scholarship is $1,000.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a current high school senior scheduled to graduate in May or June of this year and must satisfy one of the following criteria:
– Must be a student at Avon High School;
– Must be a resident of the Avon school district and graduating from a private or parochial school;
– Must be an immediate family member and a financial dependent of an Avon Lions cub member in good standing.
Applications are available at the Avon High School Guidance Office or directly from the Avon Lions Club by writing to the Avon Lions Club at P.O. Box 22, Avon, OH 44011.
The deadline for receiving applications is March 31, 2013.
