The 6th Annual We Love Jeremy Golf Outing will be held on August 10, 2013 at Bob O Link Golf Course in Avon, Ohio. The Avon Lions will be volunteering as Par 3 marshals to monitor whether any participants make a hole-in-one.
Founded in 2011, Jeremy Cares Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to help families with children dealing with serious illnesses. They work with other local organizations to support and help the the families regain feelings of control, improve self-image, and to diminish the stresses that illness creates for the entire family.
The annual We Love Jeremy Golf Outing has been a huge success in raising funds for this cause. This year members of the Avon Lions will be part of the effort, providing assistance to the Jeremy cares staff in monitoring prizes on the Par 3 holes.
