The Avon Lions will be participating in the 10th Annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival Parade on Saturday, June 14 at 10:00 am. The start location will be at the Avon High School.
Avon Lions will walk the parade route and distribute candy. We hope to include the Lion Mascot (volunteer needed) & we will also drive the truck and/or the Mustang.
Lions planning to attend should contact Paul Johnson to coordinate. Please remember parking is limited and there is very limited GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING at The Avon High School (starting point).
The check-in time is typically 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Lion Paul will check us in during that time, and everyone else should plan to be there no later that 9:30. The parade starts at 10:00 am, but Detroit Road will be closed down PROMPTLY at 9:45 am. There is a lot of traffic, so please plan to be there earlier than later.
